As you know the lockdown has been extended which is frustrating but necessary to limit the spread of this awful disease. We have received lots of lovely messages and lots of questions mostly regarding appointments and colouring hair. 

Your Angels have all been furloughed so they are not allowed to work. This means Collette is working hard keeping everything going. 

COLOURS -  The colour products we use in the salon are for professional use only and manufacturers forbid use without the necessary professional qualifications & training.  Insurers will also not cover anyone who uses these products outside of the salon. 

SKIN TESTING - In line with legislation and manufacturers guidelines, we skin test every 6 months. This means for many, we will need to carry out a new skin test before any colour appointment can take place. Don't worry though, we have a plan for this when we get a date that we are allowed to reopen. 

USED A BOX COLOUR? -  This is really difficult as we have received a couple of calls from clients who have put a box colour on at home which hasn't turned out as they wished. 

The reason for this is simple, box colours are manufactured in mass for a "generic" market, the picture on the box is of someone who has never had a colour so they have a blank canvas to work with.  Most of you, if not all have hair colour history meaning that box colours are not always suitable. 

We have appx 400 colours and twelve variations of developers in our salon not to mention the highly skilled stylist and the various techniques used meaning we will use a bespoke cocktail and usually more than one technique on your hair. 

If you have put a box colour on DON'T PANIC we will just have to do a new consultation and strand tests before we can book you back in.  

APPOINTMENTS - We appreciate you are all wondering about your appointments so all we can confirm at the minute is :

As soon as we have a date to reopen we will be prioritising those that were cancelled due to the forced closure.  Sadly it looks like we will not be allowed to reopen for a  few weeks, so in the meantime and to help us plan can we ask that you complete the survey below.
